The 6th ICOBIRD Publication Workshop
As a continuation of a series of the 6th ICOBIRD, a publication workshop was held on 15 November 2017 at Binus University Syahdan Campus, room M2B. The workshop began with the opening remarks from Prof. Dr. Tirta N. Mursitama, Ph.D. as the Head of the Department of International Relations of Binus University. This workshop aimed to discuss the writing progress of ICOBIRD presenters’ article to achieve the standard of international journal.
The presenters who attended the publication workshop were: Respati Wulandari, Prof. Dr. Tirta N. Mursitama, Ph.D., Mutiara Indriani, Lili Yulyadi, Ph.D., Tia Mariatul Kibtia, Vidya Prahassacitta, Luh Nyoman Ratih Wagiswari Kabinawa, Galuh Dian Prama Dewi, Aditya Permana, Tangguh Chairil, Sukmawani Bela Pertiwi, and Paramitaningrum, Ph.D. Respati Wulandari became the first presenter who spoke about her article entitled, “Application of Strategic Entrepreneurship Approach in Franchise and Non-Franchise Business.” Next, Mutiara Indriani presented her article entitled, “Development Aid, Partnership and Cultural Adaptation: Is the Combination a Way Forward?” Then, Lili Yulyadi, Ph.D. presented his article entitled, “Revisiting Development in Developing Countries in the Era of Information and Technology Advancement.” After that, the morning session of the workshop ended and the participants took lunch break.
The afternoon session started with Tia Mariatul Kibtia speaking about her article entitled, “Foreign Policy of Saudi Arabia in Indonesia (Case Study: Saudi’s Investment in Indonesia 2010-2017).” Next, Vidya Prahassacitta presented her article entitled, “Indonesia’s Objective on Anti-Hate Speech via Social Media Towards Democracy.” Luh Nyoman Ratih Wagiswari Kabinawa presented “The Political Economy of Taiwan’s Foreign Investment: Case Study Morotai Development Plan.” Galuh Dian Prama Dewi presented “Political Economy of e-Commerce and Its Impact On Indonesian Market (Case Study of Online Shops Growth in the 2000s).” Aditya Permana presented “Integrating Business Strategy and Sustainability Development of the Society.” Tangguh Chairil presented “Cyber Defense in Indonesia: Challenges to the Capacity Development.” Lastly, Sukmawani Bela Pertiwi presented “E-Commerce and Regional Integration in Southeast Asia.” After that, the event came to the end with the closing remarks by Prof. Dr. Tirta N. Mursitama, Ph.D.
