Jakarta, April 5th 2019 – We are living through a technological revolution. This change alters how we live and socialize. Various technologies have been invented and implemented worldwide. To experience these inventions, FPCI Chapter BINUS University held a Study Visit.

The visit to Telkom Digital eXperience (TDX) took place on April 5, 2019. TDX is located on the 6th Floor of Telkom Landmark Tower. The location is Jalan Taman Widya Chandra, Kuningan Barat, South Jakarta.

Telkom built TDX. Its purpose is to introduce the future of ICT. ICT stands for Information and Communications Technology. TDX gives a new experience. It shows how ICT works in human activities and environments. The visit involved a one-hour tour.

Next, we entered the Home eXperience Area. This area showed the future digital lifestyle inside a home. This so-called smart home provides several elements. These elements are security, entertainment, and convenience. They also include energy and health support.

After the home area, we saw future mobile technologies. These included self-driving cars. There were also smart cities with smart bikes and vending machines. Other items included robots, smart gardens, and smart eFishery.

The final area showed technology for enterprise and government. This technology offers transactions and commands without location or time limits. Through this visit, participants learned about future technologies. This includes the Industrial Revolution 4.0. Participants are expected to join in building a better Indonesia (Regina Christianto).
