AIPA Short Program – Model AIPA General Assembly 2019

Dear All,

in August 2017 AIPA Secretariat launched “Model AIPA” as an educational simulation of the General Assembly of AIPA. Students can learn about parliamentary diplomacy and AIPA itself as regional parliamentary organization, and discuss about the current regional issues.

In 2018, we had 73 students from seven ASEAN Member States joining the 2nd Model AIPA 2018. This year, the 3rd Model AIPA aims to invite students from 10 ASEAN Member States.

This year, the 3rd Model AIPA aims to invite students from 10 ASEAN Member States. With the theme “Model AIPA: Towards a Peaceful, Stable, Secure and Prosperous ASEAN”, The 3rd Model AIPA will take place from 9-13 September 2019 in DPR-RI (House of Representatives) Compound in Jakarta.

We will select 20 applicants from international students and only those who can participate in the Model AIPA 2019 due to the limited space Gladly informed that AIPA Secretariat will provide scholarship in the form of financial support that covers meals and accommodation for the 20 selected students. The accommodation will be at BINUS Square Hall of Residence. The 20 selected students will also be included in the short program organized by BINUS University.

Administrative screening : 5 – 9 August 2019
Interview screening : 5 – 16 August 2019
Acceptance announcement : 19 – 23 August 2019
Confirmation of attendance : 26 – 30 August 2019
