FPCI in Talks with Nobukatsu Kanehara: Towards the Free and Open Indo-Pacific, Japan’s Grand Strategy
On Thursday, 17 October 2019 Foreign Policy Community of Indonesia or FPCI Invited Mr. Nobukatsu Kanehara and Prof. Dewi Fortuna Anwar to Bengkel Diplomasi at Mayapada Tower 1 to talk about Japan’s grand strategy from 14:00 WIB until 16:00 WIB. This talk is attended by student of several university in Jabodetabek, Think-thank, and publics. The topic in this talk is “Towards the Free and Open Indo-Pacific, Japan’s Grand Strategy”. Mr. Nobukatsu Kanehara as the speaker is a former deputy secretary general of national security secretary and assistant chief cabinet secretary in the prime minister’s office of Japan.
This talk is moderated by Prof, Dewi Fortuna Anwar, she’s a research professor of Indonesia Institute of Sciences or LIPI. In this opportunity, Mr. Nobukatsu kanehara talk about Japan-Indonesia relations in economical aspect and how Japan’s plan to maintaining sustainable partnership in region. We also discus about how China, Korea, and US activity effecting Japan’s plan. This talk closed with Q&A for 30 minutes and photo session.
