IR BINUS Best Thesis Award 2023
Jakarta – On Thursday, 16 November 2023, the International Relations Department of Binus University announced the result of Best Thesis Award 2023. The Best Thesis Award 2023 was an award for Binus International Relations students who finished their thesis during the odd or even semester of 2022/2023 academic year and whose thesis papers were submitted to ICOBIRD 2023.
The result was announced after the keynote session of the 12th International Conference on Business, International Relations, and Diplomacy (ICOBIRD), an annual international conference held by the IR Department.
The winners of Best Thesis Award 2023 were:
Champion: VENESIA NOVIANTI, with thesis paper entitled “The Role of South Korean Media on the Dispute over Compensation for Wartime Forced Labor During Japanese Annexation”
Runner-up: RANIA NASHEETA, with thesis paper entitled “Academic and Elite: A Comparative Exploration into the Perceptions of IUU Fishing in Southeast Asia”
Third place: KHARISA RAMADANI, with thesis paper entitled “Indonesian Government Efforts to Overcome Fisheries Crime: A Case Study of Lobster Larvae Smuggling 2019-2021”
