Foreign Policy Discussion #1 FPCI Chapter BINUS: “Comparing Indonesia’s Quality of Education to Southeast Asian Nations”
Jakarta – On February 23, 2024, the Foreign Policy Community Indonesia (FPCI) Chapter at BINUS University successfully held its first Foreign Policy Discussion. The event took place at BINUS University’s Anggrek Campus in West Jakarta.
This discussion aimed to create an important platform. The platform allows FPCI members to discuss relevant international issues. Furthermore, it sharpens critical thinking. It also broadens insights related to international relations.
Comparing Education Quality in Southeast Asia
The discussion focused on the compelling topic: “Comparing Indonesia’s Quality of Education to Southeast Asian Nations.” This topic generated great interest from the participants.
Active participation and conducive discussions were evident. Therefore, this showed high enthusiasm for the chosen theme.
Fostering Critical Analysis and Policy Understanding
This activity also had another key goal. It aimed to instill a positive habit in BINUS HI students. Specifically, the habit of analyzing and understanding policy is vital. This includes both domestic and international policies. The forum provided an open and supportive discussion environment.
Consequently, through this discussion, students are expected to gain more understanding. They should understand Indonesia’s education quality position in Southeast Asia. Additionally, they will grasp its impact on international relations and domestic policy.
