GKS Foreign Exchange Students Support Program – Dongguk University (Spring Semester of 2016)

Goals of the GKS (Global Korea Scholarship) Program is Invite and select outstanding international students recommended by the universities to provide them with support for accommodation, transportation, medical insurance, etc.

Duration of the scholarship: 4 months (March to June, 2016)

– Scholarship Details
Living Expenses: KRW 500,000 per month
Settlement allowance: KRW 200,000
Round-trip Airfare: reimbursement available within the set amount
Insurance: KRW 20,000 per month
* Scholarship duration: March 2, 2016 – June 21, 2016 (4 months)
* Scholarship for June will be around KRW349,000 calculated by daily basis by June 21st.

– Qualification for applications
1. Undergraduate student enrolled in the AUN (ASEAN University Network) member
universities is only eligible for this scholarship

2. Applicant should complete more than 2 semesters at this point in time
3. Applicant’s percentage grades should be 80% above out of 100%
4. Korean citizenship (or dual citizenships) holder is Not eligible for the program
