About Alvin Qobulsyah
Mochamad Alvin Dwiana Qobulsyah is a lecturer and faculty member at the Department of International Relations, Bina Nusantara (BINUS) University, focusing on Contemporary Issues and New Media streams. He has a Master of International Studies degree from Seoul National University, majoring in International Cooperation. His current focus research and interests are global media studies, international migration, global civil society, and East-Southeast Asia-related studies. Previously, he graduated from the Department of Political Science, Universitas Indonesia, with concentrations in Comparative Politics and Indonesia’s Political Studies. Later, he became passionate and experienced in broadcast journalism, migration studies, and globalization issues and fields.
Mochamad Alvin Dwiana Qobulsyah has more than a decade of experience as a reporter, news producer, and broadcaster in the Indonesian and South Korean media industry; he has already covered many desks from politics, economy, military, culture, sports, and entertainment in NET. Mediatama Televisi, KBS World Radio Indonesia, and SEA Today. Currently, Alvin Qobulsyah is performing as a Senior News Producer and International News Assignment Editor Supervisor at SEA Today, Indonesia’s English-medium broadcast media based in Jakarta.
