OK. Mohammad Fajar Ikhsan, B.A. (Hons), M.Sc., Ph.D.

 

Mohammad Fajar Ikhsan, B.A. (Hons), M.Sc., Ph.D., is currently an Assistant Professor and Subject Content Coordinator in the Department of International Relations at BINUS University, Jakarta. He holds a Ph.D. in Political Economy, an M.Sc. in Strategic Studies, and a B.A. (Hons) in International Relations from Universiti Utara Malaysia (UUM).

Before joining BINUS University, he served as a Senior Lecturer in the Department of International Relations at Universiti Utara Malaysia for five years and held the position of Program Chair for the Master’s and Ph.D. programs in the same department for three years. Simultaneously, he was appointed as a Research Fellow at the Asian Institute of International Affairs & Diplomacy (AIIAD) UUM and the UUM Institute of Indonesia, Thailand, and Singapore (UUM-ITS).

Prior to his tenure at UUM, Dr. OK also worked at various universities in Indonesia, including Universitas Islam Sumatera Utara, Universitas Sumatera Utara, Lembaga Pendidikan dan Pengembangan Profesi Indonesia, Universitas Bakrie, and Universitas Prima Indonesia.

Dr. OK’s areas of expertise include International Relations, International Political Economy, Critical Political Economy, Business and Politics, Foreign Economic Policy, Regional Economic Integration, and the Politics of International Trade and Business. His expertise has led him to engage in a wide range of research, consultancy projects, and international publications.
