About Ganesh Aji
Ganesh Aji Wicaksono is a Lecturer in the Department of International Relations at Bina Nusantara (BINUS) University, Jakarta. His academic focus and research interests cover military technology and history, defence and security policy, and defence procurement.
He holds a Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Strategic Studies from the S. Rajaratnam School of International Studies (RSIS), Nanyang Technological University (NTU), Singapore, and a Bachelor of Social Science (S.Sos.) in International Relations from Universitas Indonesia.
Ganesh has published in national and international journals, conference proceedings, and media outlets. His works include studies on Japan’s military transformation, Indonesia’s naval competitiveness, and maritime diplomacy, as well as defence-related articles for The Conversation, MaritimNews, and Angkasa Magazine.
Through his teaching, writing, and research, Ganesh contributes to advancing knowledge in strategic studies, defence policy, and international security within Indonesia and beyond.
