About Alvin Ernesto
Alvin Ernesto Lusikooy, S.Hub.Int., M.A. is a faculty member and lecturer in the Department of International Relations at Bina Nusantara (BINUS) University, Jakarta, Indonesia. He obtained his Bachelor’s degree in International Relations from BINUS University in 2017 and a Master of Arts in International Relations and International Business from the University of Nottingham Ningbo China (UNNC) in 2020.
His research interests focus on diplomacy, geopolitics, and global trade, with particular attention to ASEAN and East Asia studies, as well as the evolving role of technology in shaping contemporary foreign policy. As both a scholar and practitioner, Alvin actively bridges academic inquiry with practical policy engagement.
In his teaching, Alvin emphasizes a blended learning approach that integrates theoretical perspectives with real-world case studies. This method is designed to equip students with both conceptual understanding and practical insights into the complexities of international relations, preparing them to navigate global challenges with critical thinking and applied skills.
