Rhevy Adriade Putra, S.I.P., M.A., Ph.D.

Rhevy A. Putra is a lecturer in the Department of International Relations at Bina Nusantara University (Binus), Jakarta. His academic journey began in 2010 with the completion of a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science at the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences (FISIP), Universitas Indonesia (UI). His undergraduate thesis explored the topic of democracy in the Middle East.

In 2013, Rhevy pursued a Master’s degree at Newcastle University, United Kingdom, supported by the prestigious Indonesian Education Scholarship (BPI) from the Education Fund Management Agency (LPDP) under the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Indonesia. He completed his studies in 2014, conducting research on the role of transnational corporations (TNCs) in development.

Building on his academic achievements, Rhevy was awarded the same scholarship to undertake doctoral studies, which he successfully completed in 2022. His doctoral research focused on the financing preferences of political parties in emerging democracies, with Indonesia as a primary case study.

Rhevy’s research interests are situated within the broader fields of foreign policy and international politics. His current focus areas include ASEAN studies and issues related to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
